One wrong move cost me Big

One wrong move cost me Big Time!  On stage 5, I missed a close steel and realized my carefully rehearsed plan was ruined. Unable to think fast, I crouched down and shot my 8th shot through the B ring on a paper target and knocked down the popper.  Big mistake!

The penalty was 11 seconds. Five for the missed steel (pass throughs don't score), 5 second for the procedural penalty (failure to engage), and one second for the B hit.. If it was an idpa stage, I would have gotten the coveted FTDR (failure to do right = 20 second penalty)!

I wish I could say "live and learn", but the learning rate seems to be slower of late...

Mark,

Mark,

I have to be 100% on my game to capitalize off either you or Brian. Me shooting a great match is not enough, I have to also wait for either of you to flub a stage or have your equipment hiccup. If we both shoot to our ability you beat me every time. You have my permission to leave a target anytime you want.

Your stumbles cannot even compare to number of "Oh CRAP!"s in this Stage Designer Gremlin-bitten run.

Charlie, Revolver light

Charlie, Revolver light strikes are certainly a pain in the neck. Other than those (a mechanical failure) your run looked good!

Actually... after the jaunt

Actually... after the jaunt to Box C, I fumbled the reload, dropping 3 in the dirt. I should've dumped the rest and done a clean reload. All those clicks were on empty cylinders.
